Freelyreceive.faith is a ministry which exists to provide Christian resources to people without cost.
The primary resources provided are Bible cross-reference guides that can be used for Bible study, and scripture verse cards that can be used for reflecting on God’s word.
So far I have been able to complete cross-reference guides for two Bible editions in various formats. I provide free PDF downloads of these public domain resources to anywhere in the world from this website. I also offer free print copies of the cross-reference guides with free shipping/delivery (in the United States so far) as I have resources to print and ship these. If you are able to print and bind these yourself (e.g. with a wire-o or 3-ring binder), please do so.
I also offer free PDF downloads of the Bible verse cards and also free shipping/delivery of these also. These can also be printed by yourself duplex on your home printer.
These resources are public domain without restriction, so if you are able, please do print and make some for friends and family.
I developed the Bible cross-reference guides after personally finding how valuable it was to cross-reference scriptures during my personal Bible study. Of course, there are many websites that allow one to search for verses that contain a word. However, I wanted to create a resource for others to be able to have the most pertinent word based cross-references handy during their Bible study. (Think sitting at a coffee shop, with both your Bible open and one of the cross-reference guides as you work your way studying through a chapter.) I feel that there is a great need now, more than ever, during these times for people to personally understand what God is saying in the Bible.
I created the Bible verse cards after seeing how beneficial it was for me to meditate on Bible verses and memorize some verses. I found that thinking on a verse can really bring connection to God, surprising insight, and peace. The font is large to make it more relaxing on the eyes as one is reviewing the cards.
I am providing these resources for free as I feel it is in keeping with Jesus’s call to “freely ye have received, freely give”. During these difficult financial times, there is a need for people to have access to Christian resources like this without cost.
In addition to providing what we currently have, we hope to expand the cross-reference guides to other Bible languages/translations, in particular translations that are in the public domain.
Through the work of other ministries, there is free access to over 1,000 translations of the Bible. Unfortunately, there is very limited Bible study tools for languages other than English. With our software that generates the cross-reference guides, we can bring a guide to a new translation/language with just a moderate amount of work.
We also plan to further develop the software that generates the Bible verse cards to more easily create the cards for other translations also.
